Former Salesforce Software Architect Josh Newman joins Spectrum as Co-Founder and CTO as the company expands its AI capabilities to meet customer demand.
Spectrum Labs, a leading enterprise AI platform provider for gaming, dating, and user-review companies, today announced that Josh Newman has joined as Co-Founder and CTO. Josh, who most recently worked as a Software Architect at Salesforce – leading Data Capture & GDPR development for its Data Management Platform – will focus on expanding Spectrum’s architecture, enhancing its AI capabilities, and growing the engineering team.
Josh brings a wealth of software engineering expertise to Spectrum, including the ability to build privacy-compliant data management and identity-based distributed systems. After having served five years as a Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, Josh worked a decade in engineering leadership roles at Vodori, Syapse, and Krux (acquired by Salesforce).
“I’m delighted to join Spectrum Labs. It’s a great opportunity to apply my scalable data systems knowledge to the growing set of challenges that our customers face,” said Josh Newman. “It’s also exciting to work with a successful Board and Executive Team that I’m familiar with, as company building is a team sport where winning equals delivering meaningful customer ROI.”
“Our clients require new solutions to solve for complex challenges in driving growth and improving consumer experiences,” said CEO Justin Davis. “I’m thrilled to work with Josh again. We’re lucky to have such a talented and trusted individual in charge of scaling our technology platform and team, which will deliver on these challenges.”
